Tae Bo
Tae Bo is presented as a full body workout that is easy to learn. It was
developed in 1992 by Billy Banks practicing martial arts and was world champion
in karate several years and a champion of the Golden Gloves. Tae Bo combines
footwork martial arts fighters working arm and is similar to kickboxing with a
time component of great fun. This program works in both muscle strength and
aerobic endurance, so it is a good choice for a toning workout for many.
Self Tae Bo is a unique fitness program that became popular through
infomercials and videos presenting the founder Billy Banks and daughter
Shellie. Although the fitness program is offered as a class in 1982, the
company continues to sell millions of current DVD and has certified thousands
of instructors. Tae Bo was also the basis for similar training programs in a
variety of gyms and fitness centers worldwide. Kickboxing combined with good
music dancing together.
